Be still, relax, wait on God
Pray: asking God to guide your time and to speak to you
Read the passage: read it slowly, read it all or at least some of it 2 or 3 times.
Think what the passage is saying and how it applies to your life and your walk with God. Jot down any thoughts, discoveries or issues.
Pray: About any application you have discovered alongside your normal prayers of praise and confession and your prayers for yourself and others. Continue to use your journal to aid this time.
